Originally growing up in Birmingham, I always had my heart set on medicine – knowing all the ins and outs of the body, the workings that happen every second, it’s invigorating. But after years of work experience and open days I didn’t feel a connection with the career itself – by chance I stumbled upon Osteopathy and have never looked back. With a family heritage like Ayurvedic Medicine, giving the body the abilities to heal itself, as naturally and non-invasively as possible is incredibly important but not well known enough.
After finishing sixth form, I moved to Maidstone to join the European School of Osteopathy, of which I am now a second-year student. In my first year I undertook a sports massage course during my summer and became qualified in the same year. Now, my every intention is to integrate what I know now about holistic health and well-being into each and every massage, to help create a better quality of life full of balance.
